THE DEATH OF DR. GIBARIAN

 

this morning i watched solaris
at 5am there will be 30 seconds of weightlessness

a meditative sense of despair, a feeling that we can never
find what we’re looking for even when it’s right there

i walked around the block and imagined it was
an island in an ocean in space, and what’s the difference

when will you float out of me, or back in
i don’t want to forget i just wish you were further away
