GO ALONG

In april rain enters our house, surprising things 

become waterways so that it is possible 

to learn how rivers construct themselves 

in ways that are in premonition and move 

accordingly, as with knowledge of future designs 

though they themselves are not the designer, 

there are ways to stop the water 

but all of them are very involved, 

the river's banks eroding in their demarcation 

as if to proclaim all things must leave 

themselves when in service 

to other acts of momentum.
